When you call to make hotel reservations at Phoenix Inn Suites (541--926-5686) mention that you are with the Marine Corps League for the special tax exempt rate of $93 per night. Please make your reservations early. Reservation cut off date is May 25, 2018.
The guest of honor will be Alek Skarlatos US Army National Guard veteran who, along with fellow Americans Spencer Stone and Anthony Sadler, stopped a gunman on a Paris-bound train travelling from Amsterdam via Brussels in August 2015. Alek is a native Oregonian from Roseburg, Oregon and played himself in a Clint Eastwood directed movie the "The 15:17 to Paris', the true story of a terrorist, a train and three American heroes,"
